Our Methodology
The best way to explain our methodology is using a set of lenses to look at your organisation.
Where each lens represents its own area, and the possibility to overlay different lenses.
Each lens requires a set of prerequisite activities, which consists of discovery activities, and processing those discovered attributes into our management platform.
When that data is available, it will be possible to apply the lenses.
Each lens has its own specialty, and in some cases lenses can be combined to have a different perspective for the same information.
We classify our lenses in 3 different categories: basic, advanced and specialized

We use these specific focus areas. These will be applied through any engagement we do, this is to bring information, choices, decisions all back to the same structure:
-
Organisation
-
Technology
-
Change
-
Strategy
The basic lens will focus on a specific area.
Using the Organisation focus will provide a simplified perspective of the organisation, represented with Sites, Legal Entities and Positions.
Using the Technology lens will provide a perspective on Technology, with Apps and Integrations.
Using Change will provide a perspective on planned, active and completed projects.
The Strategy lens will represent elements of the strategy with business processes and business capabilities.
When each single lens is used, it will provide a number of key data points per focus area.
For example, the technology lens will show apps & integrations and its strategic status. The strategic status identifies if the app is going to be strategic for the future and will be invested to support and develop going forward.
This basic level will provide a baseline for the advanced and specialized lenses. In the advanced mode, the lenses can use in combination.
-

The Advanced lenses allow an overlay between each focus area, and also in both directions.
For example when overlaying Organisation with Technology, the perspective will represent how technology is applied to the organisation structure. In this example, this would represent a perspective of Site or Position, and which tech (apps & integrations) are used for each site or for each position.
But when switching the lens, and using the Technology overlay on Organisation, the viewer will see how the organisation is using the technology. This could reflect in how much sites or positions are using a specific app or integration. And then being able to zoom in which positions and which sites are using that specific technology.
So its the same information, but it uses a different perspective.
The advanced lenses allow a viewer to change perspectives, depending on the view required

Similar to a professional photographer, there is a need to have basic lenses, advanced lenses, but also we will use and innovate with specialized lenses for specific use cases.
We currently offer 2 specialized lenses on top of the 4 basic and the advanced combination of the 4.

Contract & Licenses
-
Data
The Data lens provides the insight of which data is related to Apps, Integrations, Business Process and/or Projects.
For example, Customer Data is used in Apps A, B and C, it is synchronized in interface AB, BA, but not in AC/CA. And Project 124 and 356 is going to impact Customer Data.
Contract & licenses, have a relation with Apps, Integrations, Suppliers, Project and Positions.
This creates a view to see which contracts are out there, which contract lines are linked to an app and representing the total cost of an app
